The Dodecanese Islands are an archipelago in the southeastern part of the Aegean Sea. Here you can find medieval castles, ancient ruins, beautiful beaches, and picturesque villages. Rhodes, the largest island, is famous for its old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These islands are ideal for those looking for a combination of culture, history and natural beauty.

No matter which of the Dodecanese islands you go to, you will find traces of peoples and cultures that have left their mark over the centuries: Ionians, Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, Ottomans and Italians. Each island has its own character.

Our journey will begin on the island of Kos, the heart of the Dodecanese.

Kos is easily accessible by direct charter flights from most European countries.

Halki is one of those islands that enchants you even before you step off the boat.
The coastal road runs in front of colorful 19th-century townhouses  century townhouses with monotonous red tile roofs
red tiles and wooden  window frames. There are very few cars in the capital, and every evening from 18:00 traffic is completely prohibited.
Halki impresses with its crystal clear  waters and unspoiled nature.

Day 4: Tuesday. Halki - Rhodes

Rhodes is an island of knights and a true pearl of the Mediterranean, basking in the rays of the god Helios himself.  Many years ago, in honor of their powerful and beloved patron saint, Helios, the islanders erected a majestic statue of the Colossus of Rhodes, more than 30 meters high.
The ancient city of Rhodes is a real gateway to the past with a monumental historical center dating back to the 14th century, the time of the Knights Hospitaller, the ruins of the ancient acropolis and the famous port with windmills.
The port where the legendary Colossus of Rhodes once stood. Some streets have retained their medieval appearance so precisely and unchanged, as if one part of the city lives in another time.

Day 5: Wednesday. Rhodes - Simi

Graphite cliffs that steeply descend to the azure sea, golden sandy and gray-blue pebble beaches, emerald green cypress trees - the landscapes of Simi are beautiful and, seemingly unchanged since the days of Ancient Greece.
The upper town, Chorio, is permeated with a web of narrow, winding, intricate streets. The ascent begins from the Square of the Rock with a staircase of 500 steps. At the top of the hill are the ruins of the Castro fortress, built in the 14th century on the site of an ancient acropolis.
A magnificent circular panorama opens from the foot of the Castro.

Day 6: Thursday. Simi - Nisyros

Nissiros is famous for its active volcano and thermal springs. We will be able to visit the Stefanos crater and the picturesque village of Mandraki with its white houses and narrow streets.
